Kristy Amer

Dr. Kristy Amer received her DVM from The Ohio State University in 2003. She spent the early years of her career managing equine internal medicine/critical care cases in Kentucky before moving to Colorado in 2008 to dedicate her practice to small animal emergency medicine.

Dr. Amer loves the dynamic nature of ER care and finds true joy in connecting with her patients each day. Knowing that pets are beloved family members, she is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized, high-quality care to every patient. 

Outside of work, she loves biking, hiking and exploring Colorado with her yellow Lab, Violet, and her Chidoodle (aka mutt), Pickle, or unwinding at home with a good book.
