Animal Urgent Care (AUC)
We are here for you and your pet.
We understand the pain of this moment, and we want to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. There are some choices you need to make regarding after care and mementos you wish to have. We are happy to help guide you through this process, as well, if you have questions.
Many people worry that this process will be painful for their pet, but we do everything we can to ensure the most painless, peaceful goodbye we can provide. We have a comfortable space to spend time together in your pet’s final moments, and we are genuinely concerned only with your well being and that of your pet.
When you arrive at our hospital, we will escort you to a room and briefly take your pet to our treatment space for an IV catheter placement. Your pet will be handled gently and lovingly, and we will not administer any medication without your consent. We will reunite you as quickly as possible and allow as much time as you would prefer before the doctor joins you for the euthanasia process.
If you would prefer to make selections for these items in person or over the phone, we will gladly assist in whatever way is best for you.
